ASKABIDE KLINIKA

Your questions, clear answers.

Techniques, decisions, recovery and contact: general information to help you prepare for your consultation.

Do I need to know which treatment I want?

No. The first consultation is for discussing your concern, assessing the anatomy and deciding whether anything needs to be done. No treatment is also an option.

Where can I request an assessment?

In Donostia, Bilbao and Vitoria-Gasteiz. Availability and the professional for each procedure are confirmed when you contact the clinic.

What type of surgery is provided?

The service focuses on minor outpatient intimate surgery under local anaesthesia, within Askabide’s authorised activity. Assessment determines the appropriate procedure.

How do I find out the price?

The clinic explains consultation fees. When an intervention is proposed, you receive an individual quotation detailing what is included before you decide.

Does WhatsApp replace a consultation?

No. It is for administrative enquiries and appointments, not diagnosis, emergencies or intimate photographs.

Which languages are available?

Spanish, Basque, French and English. Confirm the consultation language with the clinic; website translations do not mean every professional consults in all four languages.

Can just one side be reduced?

Yes, a one-sided correction can be considered after examining both sides and understanding the difference.

Does the laser avoid stitches?

Not necessarily. The laser cuts and coagulates; the need for stitches depends on how the tissue must be closed.

Does labiaplasty tighten the vagina?

No. It treats the external inner labia, not the diameter of the vaginal canal.

What is the intended result?

A proportionate contour and a correction suited to your anatomy. The result depends on your tissue and healing, so some natural asymmetry may remain.

How should I plan my return to work?

This depends on your work and the extent of the correction. At the consultation, we help you plan for the recovery time you may need.

When can I resume sexual activity?

When your healing and recovery allow it. Follow-up visits provide individual advice for a gradual return to activity.

Is there a fixed price?

The clinic provides an individual estimate after assessing the procedure. This website does not publish unconfirmed prices.

Can an examination confirm whether I have had sex?

No. The appearance of the hymen does not prove a person’s sexual history.

How is the procedure planned?

After an examination, we discuss the appropriate technique, your expectations and recovery time. Information and consent are provided before you decide.

Do I need to explain the reason on WhatsApp?

No. You can request an appointment and discuss the details privately with the professional.

Is an initial assessment needed?

Yes. It establishes the available tissue and whether a suitable reconstruction can be planned within minor outpatient surgery.

Is this the same as vaginoplasty?

No. Fractional treatment of the lining is not surgical reconstruction of the vagina.

How do you assess whether it is right for me?

Your concern is assessed and the available options are compared. Goals and possible outcomes are explained individually; see the results section on this page.

How many sessions will I need?

There is no universal schedule. First, the clinician assesses whether the treatment should be considered and what specific objective is intended.

Does the application use hormones?

Laser application uses energy, not hormones. Choosing between care options requires medical assessment, including when you are looking for a non-hormonal approach.

Can I consult without wanting laser?

Yes. Assessment does not oblige you to have it.
